Dr Adam Bradshaw

There’s a reason why Dr Adam has made Jacaranda Family Dental feel like a family – that’s because he comes from a big family himself! Adam is one of six children and grew up in nearby Townsville. His favourite memory is Townsville finally getting a wet season and being able to swim in the creeks (watch out for crocs, Adam!).

When Adam finished high school, he went on to graduate from the University of Queensland in 2009 with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours. And now, he’s the proud owner and Principal Dentist at Jacaranda Family Dental, which opened in 2014. Adam has a special interest in implant dentistry and has even completed postgraduate training with the Brener Implant Institute in Sydney. He’s also undertaken extensive postgraduate training in orthodontics and Invisalign, which he calls ‘incredibly rewarding’, especially when he gets to see the difference a beautiful straight smile can make to his patients’ lives.

Outside of work Adam and his wife Sam keep busy with their two beautiful daughters, who they’d love to take to Africa one day to show them the animals. And when he’s not on Dad duty, Adam likes to go scuba diving, try his hand at cooking…and enter competitions with his prize-winning jams! (Yes, Adam’s strawberry jam was awarded second place at the Gympie show. Form an orderly queue.)

While Dr Adam brings young blood to his practice, his approach to dentistry is steady and traditional. He believes in thorough, high-quality dental treatment that makes the most of modern principles and techniques.

Just don’t mention his secret habit of eating Nutella from the jar when everyone’s gone to bed…
